Sex Addiction
I have learned God's grace through my many years of working with sex addicts.
After working with people struggling with sex addiction, I decided I need more training. In 1993 I trained with Dr. Patrick Carnes author of "Out of the Shadows" one of the first books on the subject of Sex Addiction.
The damage our world is suffering through porn on the internet is mind blowing. There are different types of sex addiction but porn seems to rank really high. I went for training just as the internet was becoming available to the general population. Now, studies show that it takes only 3 weeks to become addicted to internet porn.
Imago Therapy
The answer to prevent divorce.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I grew weary of being a referee for couples. In 1993, I went throught the training of Imago Therapy.
Harvell Hendrix developed techniques that you can read about in his book called “Getting the Love You Want”. Harville Hendrix, Phd, personally developed this method over a 16 year period.
Imago deals with power-struggles that occur in relationships and teaches skills to give and receive the love we all want.
If a couple is willing to commit to 12 sessions, they can finish with enough skills to have a successful marriage if they continue using the skills learned.

Inner Healing
Studies have shown that including prayer in our lives assists in our progress of healing.
In 1998, I received training in an inner healing prayer that is a wonderful companion for therapy. I do not code this as therapy but as ministry. (Insurance does not cover this appointment.) It is about God healing the wounds in our lives. This usually requires a 2 - 4 hour appointment to be scheduled. Then at the end you are trained in the prayer style so you can continue the healing process on your own time schedule.

Life Coaching
This is a time individuals set aside to work on improving their business or personal life habits. It is not a time of diagnosing but a time of improving areas of your life where you have formed bad habits. (Insurance does not cover this appointment.)
